Feasting on the nectar of a Wild Raspberry flower. Shot handheld, natural lighting. Anyone knows what kind of bug it might be? The body is about 1 inch long and it's got wings.

Sorry for the late reply, Hanafae. I don't know if insects change colours the same way as birds, but I have noticed some geographical differences in some cases. The one I referred to was a Canadian one, and mine is Danish, so that could also explain the deviance in colour :)

That's a very sensible explanation. They probably have evolved differently on different continents.
