I could do with some chilly weather right now. The temperature here has been below the freezing point for three months now, so it feels like living in a deep freezer. I suppose you never get snow and frost in Texas, right?
We actually got into the 20's this year. Walking my dog in that cold weather - not the "funnest" thing I've ever done. lol I did actually see some frost on the plants and we lost a lot of plants due to the "freeze". Our plants aren't used to that kind of cold.
We got snow years ago. It was the first time in over 100 years. It was so cute watching all the people/kids who had never seen snow before. People all ran outside at 2 in the morning and played as much as we could. We had a major family against another family snowball fight. My family won.
Nice story, Jen. Snow and ice can be a lot of fun, if it doesn't last for too long. In the narrow strait between Denmark and Sweden more than 50 ships have been stuck in the ice for weeks. Not even the biggest icebreakers can get through to help them out. They can only wait for the temperature to raise, so the ice starts to melt. In the meantime people cross the strait by car or by foot - quite a strange situation
