Would you allow me to attempt a drawing of this portrait.  I would credit you as the photographer of course.  I'm experimenting with a new medium and the detail you captured is perfect!  I'm an art teacher, but not a full time practicing artist.  It's a beautiful shot!  Very nice!

I am brand new to deviantart and not sure I did this correctly.  I wanted to give you an update on my drawing in progress, and thought I could just post it here in the comments, but I had to upload it to my site.  I'll probably delete it once it's finished and replace it with that, but thought you might enjoy seeing the progress.  Hopefully the link works?  I credited you in my comment.  If there is another way you would like me to credit you, please let me know!

I just noticed you are from Denmark!  USA for me, but my son is studying in Copenhagen this semester, and LOVES Denmark!  I will be visiting him in March, and I am so excited!

Interesting. And Rasmussen is indeed a common Danish surname too. Hope you will enjoy your visit as much as your son enjoys his stay here :)

Such a great portrait !
Those ducks are far too shy in France (due to too strong hunting pressure) to allow such a close-up...

Thanks very much, Jean-Eric. I was surprised too, but it often helps to sit or lay down in the grass and wait patiently. Then they might come quite close to you after a while :)
