Sunset at the Countryside by KeldBach Sunset at the Countryside by KeldBach
Another shot from last evening's sunset. I deliberately used a slow shutter speed here in an attempt to capture the magic of the swaying cornfield, illuminated by the golden sun rays. Also see:

Very well done. The flare at the far right is a bit distracting, but the circular ones trailing down below the sun seem fine to me.

Beautiful light and colors, Keld. May I ask why you chose f/29 instead of maybe f/16 or something like that?

Glad you like it, Alban. I used a small aperture (and low ISO) to get a relatively long exposure time. I wanted the cornfield to look soft and smooth to create the feeling that it was moving in the wind. I don't know if I succeeded, but I like to experiment once in a while. I took another shot right after with a faster shutter speed, but then the star around the sun disappeared, leaving only a big white hole :)

By the way, I got a small lens flare to the right. Do you think I should try and clone it out?

I love experiments and I think it worked pretty good, though I guess you did not have too much wind and were limited in that regard. I did not notice the lens flare at first glance, so I don't think it's an issue. Maybe if you want to offer it as a print, then it may be good to remove it. :-)
