I really like the saturated look, it helps bring out the colors that are so often visible in nature but not in photographs. I think the black mat really helps make the picture pop, although I might have placed the picture on the mat frame- style rather than widescreen movie style. Still,I think it was successful in making the focal point really come forward.

I also think the use of flash and hard edges really differentiate from the usual Nikon style, which i normally composed of soft edges and low contrast, despite however beautiful the overall picture may be. Also, I see the picture was taken just today. I commend you on be quick to upload, as well as making the photo relate to the nature currently outside for most of the deviants, or at least ones in your area.

Lastly, I HAVE ALWAYS FRICKIN WANTED TO GIVE A CRITIQUE. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks very much for taking the time to do a critique. Much appreciated. I just wanted to add that I didn't use a flash here, although it may look so. The bright areas are just the wet leaves being reflected by the light
