Tree Sparrow by KeldBach Tree Sparrow by KeldBach
I tried really hard to have this little guy jump down in the snow in front of my lens, but he didn't take the bait. I threw seeds in front of him with one hand while holding the camera in the other, so this shot is not quite as sharp as I could wish.

I can actually see him thinking, "What's this guy's angle?  Why is he throwing down seeds for me?  What is he pointing at me?  Does he want to eat me?  Hmmmm... I have to mull this over...."

It is sharp enough I think, cool contrast with the red branches. A well-earned fav!

Little birds are very difficult to take pictures, but as I can see, you have a very good equipment. 300mm lens :wow:

Yeah, that lens was a good investment, but the small birds are still a challenge to shoot :D
